Every Pertegaz piece is crafted by hand and deserves special care to preserve its beauty. With a few simple habits, your jewelry will keep its shine for far longer.

Everyday wear

Let your jewelry be the last thing you put on, once your perfume, cream and make-up have been applied, and the first thing you take off. Keep it away from water, perspiration, chlorine, salt water and chemical products, and remove it before showering, bathing, swimming or exercising. Gold and silver plating are especially delicate finishes, and these small habits help preserve their color over time.

Cleaning

After each wear, gently wipe your jewelry with a soft, dry cloth, avoiding any abrasive product. Sterling silver may darken naturally over time; simply restore its shine with a cloth made for silver. Pearls and pieces with resin are particularly delicate, so clean them only with a soft, dry cloth and keep them away from heat.

Storage

Keep each piece separately, ideally in its pouch or box, in a dry place away from humidity, so it stays free from rubbing and scratches when you are not wearing it.
